“Painting with light” the Omega way.

The word “Photography” is derived from the Greek words Photos (Phos) meaning “light” and graphé meaning “representation by means of lines” or “drawing, thus the translated meaning of photography is “drawing with light” or, as is more commonly stated, “Painting with light ”Whilst this might describe, very beautifully, the end result of a photograph it doesn’t even begin to cover the thought, preparation and sheer hard work that gets put into every single one of Jacques’ photos.

He has the ability to turn every photo into a masterpiece which captures not only the beauty of the moment but the essence of the person / people in the photograph as well. No two photos are the same but each has a certain indescribable quality which draws you in and makes you want to look deeper. Jacques is always professional, dedicated and motivated and has the ability to put you right at ease in front of the camera.

After each shoot I can look back and say that we worked hard but we also had a lot of fun. I still cannot believe how beautiful Jacques “paintings” actually are. I would highly recommend the Omega photography experience to anyone interested in true “works of art” as well as a unique and memorable photography experience.

In September 2012, some of my students and I, had the opportunity of doing a professional dance photo shoot with Jacques Le Roux, owner of Omega Photography.

Our experience with Omega Photography was exciting, professional and lots of fun.

Malibu Make-Up artists, who work hand in hand with Omega Photography, ensured that we all looked amazing. Our make-up was done to perfection.

The actual photo shoot was conducted with the utmost professionalism and Jacques made us feel relaxed, comfortable and of course, completely beautiful. The photos he took were magnificent to say the least.

For our annual studio show case in December 2012, we once again enlisted the services of Omega Photography and Malibu Make-Up artists. Once again, we received excellent services from them. Our make-up was flawless and Jacques captured the most memorable moments for us on camera. His photos were striking and unique and I could not have asked for anything better.

I have never before met someone as talented as Jacques and I believe he is passionate about photography and totally committed to what he does. I would recommend Omega Photography to anyone who would like a photo shoot done. This will not be any photo shoot, but one with a personal touch added to make the experience you have unforgettable.

When it comes to photography there is so much that plays a role to have a beautiful photo! When I went to Jacques Le Roux from Omega Photography and I saw the photo's after the shoot my words was "wow I didn’t realize that I look that good". I always had a very low self-esteem, but the shoot with the beautiful photo's really did wonders for me and my profession is not a model.

I did a second shoot now after a extreme stressful year and after I was admitted in hospital where my whole body just gave in from over work and no rest. I did the shoot and emotionally that day I was so tired. The photo's was awesome. Must say Jacques has a touch. I have been with other photographers, but the Omega Photography is the best!!! Worth it and will go nowhere else. I believe in the best!!
